music vid i made in class for my kids … Fathers Day Gift Dave

We have just passed Mothers Day and we now are floating into Dads and Grads season. Most kids know what to get dad on his special day. When the kids are young, seems the schools help out and they are able to make many hand made cards and other simple gifts.

When a teen needs to choose a gift on limited funds, the choices are much harder. There are many gifts that young kids can get that wont break the bank, some are flowers, magazines, cards and more. They can make their own care package that won’t take a lot of money but yet will be special for the recipient.

First if dad likes coffee and reading, a simple gift bag with a brand new coffee mug and a flavored coffee pack, also you can add a sporting magazine or maybe dad likes to fish, you can get a lure for fishing.

You can gather all these items and put them in a gift bag for him. If you wrap each with tissue paper then the gifts inside seem more fun to unwrap. Lets face it dads like getting gifts and don’t say much, heck they are macho, BUT they do love to be doted on.

For the college student away at school the gift giving may seem harder. Many kids while at college still have a limited budget. These kids can put together a care package and mail it to dad. By planning early you do not have to pay higher shipping rates.

So, kids take time this Fathers Day to honor dad. Take time to say you love him.

I found a video that illustrate the fathers day gifts. I hope this video can explain more our understanding about fathers day gifts

Father’s Day is a chance to give gifts that say thank you to daddy for all the times he’s picked you up from town at goodness knows what time, talked your mum into letting you go to that party or bought you the pair of shoes you really wanted.

So here’s the low down on the best of the best gifts and gadgets for your dad this year – happy shopping!

For Sentimental Dads

The Dear Dad From You to Me Journal – Life Diary is a truly original gift that will surprise and delight all those sentimental dads out there. It’s a hardback book with 60 questions for your dad to answer, that you will both treasure for ever. There are all sorts of questions in there, from ‘How did you meet my mum?’ to ‘What did you think when you first saw me after I was born?’ This gift is heart-warming, original and interesting – what more could you want?

Or if your dad isn’t the writing type, you could get him something simple and sweet like an I Love You Daddy Token. It’s made from glass, covered in brightly coloured stars and says ‘I love you daddy’ – his heart will be sure to melt!

For Dads who love games

If your dad likes to keep the old grey cells ticking over by doing puzzles, the Sudokube is the perfect gift for Fathers Day. Sudokube a lot like the Rubik’s cube, but instead of being made of colours, it’s made of numbers. The idea of the game is to get the numbers 1-9 on each side of the cube – it may take him till next year to complete it, but he’ll have fun along the way!

Lots of dads like a flutter on the horses, so the Remote Controlled Horse Racing Game is a great way for him to experience the fun of the races without actually losing any money (mum will be pleased!). The set includes two Remote Control Infra-Red Horses which you and your dad can race round the track whilst gambling for either fake money or the gold trophy cup – hours of fun and family bonding!

Or if your dad’s a car lover, you could get the Top Gear Ultimate Car Challenge Game – perfect for the household Jeremy Clarkson.

For Green Fingered Dads

If your dad has green fingers, findmeagift.com has plenty of botanical delights that he will enjoy. If you’re looking for something exotic and unusual, why not get him the Venus Fly Trap Carnivorous Plants Grow It Kit? If you want to light up his life, a Sunflowers Grow It Kit is ideal. Or if he’s a keen cook as well as gardener, he’ll love a Grow Your Own 5 Chilli Plants Kit. There’s also the Garden Kneeling Mat, which will save his knees and make weeding the garden a pleasure!

For Adventurous Dads

Activity Gifts can be a real treat for dads with a sense of adventure. There are loads to choose from on findmeagift.com – from a Ferrari and Aston Martin Driving Experience for all those car enthusiasts out there to a Yacht Race Day Experience for dads who dream of retiring on a boat. Or if he’s a real dare devil, you could get him Helicopter Flying Lesson – not for the faint-hearted, but loads of fun!

So now you’re full prepped and prepared to get your dad a gift he’ll treasure forever. And don’t forget to accompany it with a cup of tea or an ice cold beer – whichever he prefers!

A Father’s Day gift to my dad, the “MARTY STAR”!

When you begin to think about Fathers Day gift ideas for your special dad or husband you no doubt get vision of a power tool, a bathrobe, or a necktie. If you’re feeling really creative then you might branch out into thinking about a book or something for the car. If you are yawning while you are thinking of these Fathers Day gift ideas then how do you think the person who is receiving them is going to feel about them. Face it, you’ve given Dad pretty much the same Fathers Day gift every year since you were just a kid. It all started with picture frames you made in school. So don’t you think it’s about time to step away from those ordinary Fathers Day gifts and give him something that will really get his blood pumping?

You probably think that finding a truly extraordinary Fathers Day gift is going to be difficult. It doesn’t have to be. But you do have to start thinking about it from a different perspective. You have to stop thinking about your Fathers Day gift idea list in terms of items you can buy and think of them in terms of buying once in a lifetime experiences. This year that special Fathers Day gift should be about giving him the chance do something he’s always dreamed of doing.

If your dad or husband has an appetite for speed, how about a Fathers Day gift that will let them strap up and feel the roar of the engine beneath them. A day in a rally car or a turn in a V8 supercar would really do the trick. Maybe your special man would prefer to get a little wet on his special holiday. No problem. A ride in a lightning fast jetboat or a trip down the whitewater in a kayak or on a raft will take care of that. You can go even deeper with a scuba adventure. If your man would prefer to go above the ground, there’s a perfect Fathers Day gift for that too. Check out parasailing or parachute jumping.

The real point is that which ever man you are shopping for would really appreciate having the chance to break from the routine of daily life. The workaday world can wear you down but an extreme adventure activity would be just the thing to give this everyday warrior a real battery recharge.

Don’t forget to think about your Father-In-Law when it comes to Fathers Day gifts. You can show how much you appreciate the helping hand he gives you every day by saying thank you with an adventure gift. Why not make it an adventure for two. Dad, hubby, or dad-in-law would get a double treat if he were to take along a companion. There would be hours of war stories and a life time of memories made.

Regardless of whether you buy an adventure for air, land, or sea, you will truly thrill and excite your dad or husband when you turn to Fathers Day gift ideas that are unexpected. Not only will you make an impact, you will show Dad how much you really care. And isn’t that what it’s all about?

I found a video that illustrate the fathers day gifts. I hope this video can explain more our understanding about fathers day gifts

Fathers day gifts?
What is something I can get for my dad for fathers day? Hes into tools but is the kind of guy that has 10 of the same saws and gets a tape measure everytime he goes to Home Depot. So basically, I'm saying that I want something unique that blows all other gifts away but I do not want to hit the bank. Any ideas?

www.howtogirl.com Eric takes over to give you the guy’s perspective on buying Father’s Day gifts. Forget the ties and the dinosaurs (watch the video); you should give him something that reminds him of your love, or lets him spend time with you! Try some of these suggestions, or think of ones for your own unique dad! • Sports team apparel • Mini-Golf, or other outing • Puzzles, models, or other hobbies you can help with • Cell phone or ipod accessories that you can add a touch of your style …

What comes to mind when you think about shopping for the perfect Fathers Day gift? If you are like most people you roll your eyes and get flashbacks of year past when you walked around and around the local shopping center staring endlessly at rows of neckties, racks of sweaters, and cases full of books. Your hope is that the ideal Fathers Day gift will jump out at you and it just doesn’t seem to happen. You know it really doesn’t have to be that difficult to find the perfect Fathers Day gift. If you are going to turn this years Fathers Day gift shopping from torture to triumph you need to get a new attitude.

The first thing you need to do when you are ready to shop for your Fathers Day gifts is to stop thinking about things and items. Instead, start thinking about adventure experiences. Once you have done this you have already gone a long way toward finding the perfect Fathers Day gift to both buy and receive.

Now you can really have some fun! There are Fathers Day gift adventure experiences that will suit any Dad’s taste for excitement. If the Dad you are buying for is drawn to the water, how about a ride in a jet boat. Perhaps he’d prefer to be under the water–then maybe a scuba or snorkeling adventure. If your Dad is the type that likes to feel the roar of an engine, how about a day at rally car school or a turn in a V8 Supercar? For the man who prefers to take to the air, a parachute jump or parasailing would be just the ticket. The point is, you can find the perfect Fathers Day gift adventure.

Fathers Day gift adventures aren’t just for Dad. Wouldn’t your spouse love to take part in the adventure of a lifetime? How about granddad or your father-in-law? Fathers Day gift experiences are appropriate for all of the Dads in your life. Come to think of it, wouldn’t the best gift of all be to make a group outing of it. All these special Dads can share in the experience together. The memories and stories that your choice of a Fathers Day gift adventure will last a lifetime. Not only will these men enjoy themselves but the satisfaction you will receive when you hear them telling and retelling their war stories at the next family gathering will give you almost as much pleasure as they get from the outing themselves.

So, buying the perfect Fathers Day gift doesn’t have to be difficult at all. The hardest part will be keeping yourself from turning green with envy when your special Dad opens his gift and starts to dream about the fun he will have. Come to think of it, if you are a Dad you don’t have to be envious at all. All you have to do is buy a Fathers Day gift adventure for yourself and join in the fun. If you’re not a Dad but a Mom, well, you’re out of luck. If you can’t wait until Mother’s Day for an adventure of your own, well, certainly you can find a reason to sneak in an adventure for yourself.

If you are looking for the perfect Father’s Day Gift, tune in to this week’s episode of “The Discount Trendsetter Show.” Come discover some inexpensive gifts that will make your father happy without you breaking the bank.

What better way to show Dad how much you care for him and appreciate all that he does all year long than to select something really special this year for his Fathers Day gift? Sound hard? It doesn’t have to be. All you have to do is use a little imagination and start thinking about your Fathers Day gifts in a little different way. Instead of turning to the traditional Fathers Day gifts like neckties, power tools, and clothing items, turn to extreme Fathers Day gift adventures. You are sure to delight and surprise that special Dad.

There are dozens of choices when it comes to extreme Fathers Day gift adventures. So how do you select the right one? Well, the first thing you need to do is to give a little thought to the type of guy that Dad is. Does he gravitate to the water or does he feel the need for speed? Perhaps he’s more of a flier. Whatever his taste for adventure you are sure to find something to satisfy that part of him that thirsts for adventure.

For the Dad who likes to get his feet wet, consider a trip down the whitewater in a raft or a kayak or maybe a ride in a jet boat. For that speed demon, a trip to rally car school or a ride in a V8 Supercar would be the perfect Fathers Day surprise. For the guy who loves the sky, a parasailing outing or a parachute jump would be a Fathers Day gift that will be remembered for years. The point is, whatever Dad’s taste in adventure, you can find the perfect excursion.

If you want to make this year’s Fathers Day gift even more special, consider making it a group outing. Don’t you need to buy gifts for your spouse, father-in-law or grandfather? All these Dads deserve to get a break from the every day stresses that goes with being a Dad. You can create an outing that none of these special men in your life are likely to forget for a long time. Not only will they get to live a very special Fathers Day gift adventure, they will create a shared experience that can be revisited time and time again as they share their stories with you and the rest of the family. If you are a Dad, well join in. You will be part of a very special fraternity.

It is a simple matter to make your Fathers Day gift selection. Just pick up the phone and purchase a gift voucher for either a specific excursion or make your voucher an open-ended one and Dad can pick the excursion that best suits him. Either way, you’ll be buying the perfect Fathers Day gift, an adventure of a lifetime. So this year why not skip the traditional Fathers Day gifts and get something Dad will never forget, an extreme Fathers Day gift adventure. It’s a good bet that you’ll be asked to give the same gift next year and the year after.

Father’s Day ideas … Fathers Day gifts

Each year as Fathers Day rolls around we start thinking of Fathers Day gift ideas. We can always come up with something—a necktie, a new briefcase, a book, a power tool, or a sweater. Since you no longer get to make an art project such as a handprint you now turn to the same old standards when it comes to coming up with your Fathers Day gift ideas. On Fathers Day morning Dad will graciously open the gift, smile and give you a hearty thank you. Then the day will be pretty much just like any other day. A week or two later if you ask Dad what he got for Fathers Day he probably won’t even remember. The truth of the matter is that those same old ordinary Fathers Day gifts are just plain boring. Is that really the way you want to show Dad how much you care?

The trick of the whole thing is that while it’s not all that hard to come up with some ordinary Fathers Day gift, it’s no simple matter coming up with Fathers Day gift ideas that will make an impression. When you start to have difficulty making up a list of great Fathers Day gift ideas it’s because you are falling back on the same old things. So this year, challenge yourself to stop thinking about Fathers Day gifts in terms of items you can buy and start to think about them in terms of experiences you can give. You know that your Dad would love to do something that is really exciting for a change. He works so hard every day to provide for the family that a break from the ordinary would be just the tonic he needs. Plus, you’ll be showing him that you have really put some thought into your Fathers Day gift this year.

If you are shopping for your husband rather than your father, then our experience gifts are perfect for both of you. All you have to do is make the Fathers Day gift an adventure for two. You’ll not only be showing this special Dad how much he means to the kids, you’ll be showing him how much he means to you as well by sharing this extra special Fathers Day gift with him. How about a sky diving experience for two? If you prefer something aquatic, why not consider spending Fathers Day aboard a lightning fast jet boat? Or maybe the right Fathers Day gift would be something really fast—like a day spent in a rally car or a drive in a V8 Supercar.

If you can’t make up your mind what adventure would be best for your Fathers Day gift selection, try an open-ended gift voucher. That way, your father, husband, brother, uncle or other special gift recipient will be able to select the high energy activity that might fulfill a lifelong fantasy.

Regardless of whether you choose the adventure or the person you are selecting the Fathers Day gift for selects it, your gift of a high octane, blood pumping, adrenaline surging outing will be the talk of many Fathers Days to come. Be careful though, you’re going to have to figure out how you are going to top this next year.

FATHERS DAY IS AROUND THE CORNER WONDERING WHAT TO GET DAD WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK? Golf Writer Bryan Fryklund Available to Discuss how to Make Your Dad Happy this Fathers Day with golf! … golf bryan fryklund fathers day dad father gift hawaii

Each year as Fathers Day rolls around do you dread the thought of having to come up with Fathers Day gift ideas? If so, then you have the wrong attitude. You shouldn’t dread the idea of buying Fathers Day gifts. You should be excited about it. That’s because when you forget about buying the same old thing you can actually have fun with buying Fathers Day gifts. Instead of going to your local department store or home improvement outlet consider buying dear old dad an adventure for his special day.

It’s really easy to buy the perfect Fathers Day gifts when you start thinking about buying experiences rather than things. You know that dad would much rather have something as awesome as a day of rally driving rather than a necktie or a sky diving experience as opposed to a new briefcase. So go back to the drawing board with that list of Fathers Day gift ideas. Now you’ve got something to work with.

Adventure gifts are the perfect way to show your appreciation for all that dad has done for you. The only thing you have to do is think about what kind of guy your dad is. Does he like to get his feet wet and do things on the water? If so, then consider Fathers Day gift ideas such as a jet boat ride, a day of scuba driving, or a trip down the whitewater in a kayak. Perhaps he’s more of a speed guy. If that’s the case then the way you should go is a day spent driving a rally car or an experience in a unique V8 supercar. If, on the other hand, dad is the type who likes the sky, then consider Fathers Day gifts like paragliding, hot air ballooning or sky diving.

The point is, instead of turning to the same types of gifts that you have given dad year after year, you can do something really special this year. All you have to do is start focusing on experiences rather than items. You’ll find plenty of Fathers Day gift ideas when you start to think this way. If you aren’t sure exactly what kind of gift might suit dad best then you can purchase an open ended voucher for the outing of his choice. You know you can’t go wrong with that. All he has to do is make a phone call to set the exact adventure and date and he’s done.

So if you really want to show dad how much you care and how much you appreciate all the things he’s done for you, turn to Fathers Day gifts that are truly extraordinary. If you really want to turn it up a notch, why not consider making Fathers Day gift an adventure for two. That way he’ll have someone to share all those war stories with. Your Fathers Day gift will be special beyond his wildest imagination. Once you have had the thrill of buying your dad his very own once in a lifetime experience you’ll want to do it year after year.

Father’s Day? Better has several gift ideas to help you out this year. Here’s Kimberly Maus with more.

When it comes to choosing a fathers day gift and the problems that can bring,I can speak from experience here when I tell you that choosing and buying a perfect fathers day gift is probably the biggest challenge of the year and one that can cause everyone a lot of stress

I don’t know anybody that tells me they find it really easy to buy presents for fathers day each year, not least of course because many people have two or more children, and also have grandparents that also come into the gift buying equation.

Having spent so much hard earned money on yet another book on planes, cars, or boats, and having had to look at far to many woolly sweaters in the closet that were gifts that were never going to see the light of day or even have the store label removed, I came to the simple conclusion that the nicest thing to do was choose an engraved fathers day gift so that it was a truly personal gift giving experience.

The first part of choosing the ideal engraved or personalised gift is to think about what type of man it is for, and whether the gift will be kept with him at all times, taken to an office or saved for special occasions.

One of the nicest engraved fathers day gifts is without doubt cuff links, as there can be expertly engraved with initials on each one, making it clear that you really thought about the gift and the person receiving it.

You can also consider a good quality pen, there are some fabulous ones now that have the smoothest writing ceramic roller ball refills that are a real pleasure to use. These can be elegantly engraved with a name by the side of the clip, so that when the engraved fathers day gift is opened and they first see the beautiful present, they are delighted, but when they then see that you have taken the trouble to personalise it as well, they will be truly grateful.

Many fathers spend as much time at the desk as anywhere else, so with this category of gifts, you can probably be a little bit more relaxed with the engraving, and choosing a silver plated stapler, or silver plated ruler and engraving a fabulous message to the “Best Dad in the World” will make the lucky father very proud every day and show colleagues just how much the children care.

Most good elegant gift sites that sell engraved fathers day gifts will give you a choice of just initials, or three lines of words or more to be engraved, ordering is usually easy and it does not add that much to the price of the gift. The best online stores will even deliver in just a few days, so you can take your time choosing just the right item.

Choosing an engraved fathers day gift can be a lot of fun, and the joy that you will see when the gift is received makes the effort so worthwhile.

I found a video that illustrate the fathers day gifts. I hope this video can explain more our understanding about fathers day gifts

Ask any father what he wants for Father’s Day, and the answer will be “Not another tie or golf club”. It’s easier to buy gifts for moms, considering there are so many options available for women. But when it comes to buying Father’s Day gifts for dads, it’s easy to run out of ideas. What will dads like to get on Father’s Day?

Well, it depends. Does your dad like to read? Or is he one of those types who can spend hours with maps? Here are some ideas for great customized Father’s Day gifts sure to please your dad, depending on if he is a(n):

1. Environmentalist Dad Belkin conserve : Here is a gift idea for dads trying to make all those subtle changes to our lives that conserve energy. By now, everyone has heard that a lot of energy is wasted on all those devices that sit drinking up juice while in “stand-by” mode. This power strip allows you to really turn off six of its eight outlets using a tiny remote control (you can glue it to the wall – I think it’s mostly there to save you the energy of bending down to the wall outlet). Two plugs are left unswitched so you can keep the DVR or VCR (does anyone have those now?) on while you’re out or away.

2. Boy Scout Dad Swiss Tech 6-in-1 Key Multi-Tool : We love the Swiss Tech key tool. It folds into a key-like object that fits unobtrusively on a key ring. It doesn’t take any space, looks just like a key, and yet has so many features that any boy scout, pre-adolescent or middle-aged will be pleased. In a small space, you have a Phillips and regular screwdriver, a bottle opener, a knife, and a file. Sure, you wouldn’t want to use these tools to renovate your kitchen, but like any pocket knife, all that stuff comes in handy often enough to be glad you’ve got it. My wife and I both have one and never travel without it. In polished stainless steel. A bit pricey at $19.99, but worth every penny.

3. Book Lover Dad Daddy’s Little Girl: Stories of the Special Bond Between Fathers and Daughters by Gregory E. Lang If you have a daughter, it’s hard not to get a little emotional reading this collection of anecdotes compiled by Gregory Lang (author of more pithy books like “Why a daughter Needs a Dad: 100 reasons”). This is not a “deep” book, but it does get at a lot of important truths about the importance of a father to little (and big) girls. Sometimes, that’s also what dads need to give an extra push to their efforts. We all need to know that all those hours pushing swings and replacing toy batteries are the foundation of an enduring relationship that doesn’t end suddenly at adolescence. There has been plenty of research that shows this to be true, but Mr. Lang, in this compilation of his own and others’ stories relates how this plays out in different ways. For the dad of a young girl, it also gives a not-always-comfortable (read morbid) look into the future when kids are grown up and dad is looking at what he’s leaving behind as a legacy rather than what he is building in the here and now.

4. Cartophile Dad Hometown Map Jigsaw Puzzle Centered On Your Home : From the New York Times store, this unique, made-to-order jigsaw puzzle features a map that centers on your home. The map, an extract from the renowned U.S. Geological Survey, has fascinating details and provides names of main roads, contour lines, transport infrastructure, water features, vegetation, and shows notable buildings/structures. Personalized for $44.95.

5. Gamer Dad Wii from Nintendo : Permission to buy a video game console. It now seems universally permissible to add a Wii to the family entertainment options. Either dad already has one or he’s waiting for you to say it’s okay to let one in the house. Now with the addition of Wii Fit, even moms can rationalize getting in a round of Mario Tennis before dinner. Unfortunately, if you don’t have a strategy, it’s still impossible to walk into a store and buy one of these. You’ll either have to scope out deliveries at your local electronics store or plan to pay $100 over the MSRP to buy one online. We have found no other real options.

6. Traveling Dad “Bushnell Powerview 12×25 Compact Folding Roof Prism Binocular (Black)” (Bushnell) : With slightly more magnification (12X versus the usual 10X) in a compact package, these are good portable binoculars for travel dads and sporting events. At around $20, this is a great little binocular.

7. Beer Lover Dad Krups BeerTender : For the beer lover, the Krups BeerTender, a countertop “kegerator” for the 5 liter minikegs of Heineken beer is just perfect to give you the perfect pour every time. The tap keeps the beer at 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Some models come with a 30-days freshness countdown counter. Attention: meant only to be used with Heineken mini-kegs.

8. Photographer Dad Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5K 9MP Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom Time to get a new family digital camera. We’ve had great luck with our little Panasonic Lumix D9 with its Leica lens. Now Panasonic has a new model that shoots at 9MP (far more than mortals actually need), but also sports HD output. The optical stabilization is top notch and it has a 10X zoom. Only $350.

Father’s Day is not just about burnt toast, breakfast in bed, or that brand new tie. It’s a day for children to express their love and gratitude for the unsung hero in their lives.

I found a video that illustrate the fathers day gifts. I hope this video can explain more our understanding about fathers day gifts
